Dr Eqram Rahman’s training is broad and encompasses a number of the various areas that fall under medical and surgical education. He received his undergraduate degree in Medicine and subsequently gained Master of Surgery, Ph.D. and Master’s in medical education.
Though trained as a clinician, Dr Rahman defined himself primarily as a researcher and an advocate for evidence based clinical practice. Since his research is based on clinical approach and its practical outcome, for the past 15 years he has been using the study of these skills as a framework to interpret data critically. More recently, Dr Rahman is actively involved in the research on nonsurgical facial aesthetics, facial anatomy, ageing and regenerative aesthetics. He is very active in promoting evidence-based practice in field of nonsurgical aesthetics. Always interested in education, he has been heavily involved in medical education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Dr Rahman has established and led many postgraduate surgical programmes across leading universities in the UK and highly regarded as an expert in graduate medical education and training.
Dr Rahman is always active in research throughout his career with a record of publications in quality journals. An active member of the professional societies, he maintains strong collaborations with other research institutions and holds honorary professorship with leading higher education and research institutes in UK and abroad.
